Who we are

We are Jen and Keith Conrad. We are so excited to be providing solar consultation and design services!

Our story begins in the summer of 2022, just a few months after we moved to our farm, just south of Clinton Lake. We were interested in installing solar panels so that we could reduce our energy costs, and also be prepared if anything happened in this world of uncertainty.

So we began to contact solar companies in earnest, and started talking to folks about solar installation and design. Keith (20 year electrical engineer), was just simply unimpressed with the stock designs that were presented to us over and over again. Quotes consisted of so much overhead and never enough battery power, and we had a budget we needed to stick to. So for six months he poured over solar panel, inverter, and battery brands, piecing together our very own solar panel system.

He worked with the county on the permitting process and a few contractors helped us dig the lines and set the poles. Then, a few friends from Church (God bless them!!) helped us install the frame and panels, and within a few weeks we were up and running on solar energy!
